Description

An 80 sqm flat, on the border of central Paris and with very easy connections to city (10 minutes by subway or RER to reach its very centre). A sitting room overlooks a courtyard garden, 2 bedrooms (ours plus a single – our child’s). We can provide matless for 2 more people.
Our flat is on the third floor with view on a private parc, with no noisy road, few minutes away from the Bois de Vincennes, the largest park/woodland in Paris, and Vincennes Castle, mix of 14th and 17th century building.
We have two balconys : a big one with lot of plants where you can eat, and a little one on our bedroom where you can rest.

We know and enjoy our neighbourhood and will be happy to share tips with you and let you know of the shops we like : an amazing cheese shop, a delicatessen, a wine house, an excellent patisserie ! There is also a market 3 times a week. We can give you advice about restaurants (either cheap for a quick "plat du jour", or for a more gastronomic dinner).
Ten walking minutes away you can reach a very beautiful botanic garden “Parc floral de Paris” and the Bois de Vincennes (900 acres of woods, where you can run, walk for hours, rent bikes, have a picnic, go boating) ideal if you come with your children! You may also visit the nearby Royal Castle of Vincennes built in the 14th century by Charles V.
Let’s talk now about Paris !
By subway (which is 400 metres away), it will take you about 15 minutes to go to the Louvre. An RER station (a surburban train going to the centre of Paris) is 5 minutes from the flat and goes directly to the centre (Chatelet-Les Halles in 10 minutes and the Champs-Elysées in 15 minutes). From there you can walk to many monuments and museums (Beauboug, the Louvre, Notre Dame) or get a connection to any area of Paris.
We also sometimes use the bus; it is a good way to travel in Paris, especially with a pushchair.

About Us

Bonjour!!
We are a three people family : Cécile and Thomas (both 32 years old). We just have a baby, Ellina, 7 months. We have been living in Paris for a long time and choose to come in Vincennes looking for a quiet place just near Paris, to breed our baby.
Cécile is a freelance journalist and Thomas created his own computing company.
We both like travelling, good meals and wine, going to the cinema, and sharing good moments with our friends.
We will be happy to share our apartment and tips about our neighbourhood and city. If you have a baby or a young child, we have everything for him and will let you know of convenient places to go with him (parks and playgrounds…).
It will be the second time we will exchange our place, and we will make sure you feel welcome in our flat, and will do our best to make your trip enjoyable.
