Description

Lovely 200 year old cottage deep in the Irish countryside, 35 minutes from Sligo town in County Sligo. The cottage has been modernised but we've tried to keep the original aspects to maintain its charm. Modern kitchen, bathroom, combined dining/living room, centrally heated with peat/wood burning fire.

Neighborhood

Two hectares of emerald green fields presently filled with the bleating of tiny lambs. The land leads down to a smooth flowing river and surrounded by winding country lanes. Set in a little hamlet two miles from the nearest pub and village store, within walking distance of a genuine Irish peat bog. Owned by a Canadian Teacher and Irish husband who want to spend time each year in Toronto.

About Us

I am a Canadian, a teacher living in Ireland with my Anglo-Irish husband. My children and grandchildren live in Toronto and we are looking for an opportunity to spend time in Toronto while maintaining our independance.
