Appartement ancien de 100m2, deuxième étage, typique 19eme siecle avec hauts plafonds. Adapté pour une famille avec deux enfants (nous disposons d´un petit lit à barreaux et d´une table à langer).

- Cuisine avec coin-repas pour 4 (frigo, cuisinière à gaz, micro-ondes, four)
- deux salles de bain (une avec baignoire, et une petite avec douche)
- la grande chambre (30m2) pour les enfants, lits superposés + petit lit à barreaux, avec climatisation
- autre chambre pour les parents, avec lit double

100m2 flat, at the second floor, in a 19th century-styled buildng. Especially adapted for a family, even with small kids or a baby.

- Kitchen with office for 4 (full equiped)
- two bathrooms (one with bath, and a small one with shower)
- we left the argest bedroom (30m2) to the children, with air conditioning - includes a small bed for a baby
- another bedroom for the parents

Neighborhood

Situé dans le quartier de l´Ensanche, proche de la plage, des parcs et des principaux points touristiques de Barcelone sans nécessité de prendre la voiture. Proche metro Arco de Triunfo et nombreuses lignes de bus.
Ce quartier très central est cependant tranquille et familial. A proximité immédate de nombreux commerces, un grand parc, plusieurs petits squares avec jeux pour enfants, et une grande place piétonne. Egalement à 5 minutes d´un centre sportif avec piscine.
- La plage à 20 minutes à pied, 10 minutes en bus
- Sagrada Familia à 15 minutes à pied
- Plaza Cataluña/Paseo de Gracia à 15 minutes à pied, metro direct en 10 minutes

Located in the Ensanche, near the beach, the parcs and the main turistic areas of Barcelona. Close to metro Arco de Triunfo and numerous bus lines.
The neighbourhood is quiet despite being centrally located. Close to the appartement, you will find all the necessary shops, a big parc, and various playgrounds for children.
- 20 minutes by foot from the beach, 10 minutes by bus
- 15 minutes by foot from Sagrada Familia
- 15 minutes by foot from Plaza Cataluña/Paseo de Gracia , 10 minutes by metro

About Us

Nous sommes un couple franco-argentin résidant à Barcelone depuis 6 ans. Je travaille dans le conseil, et mon mari dans le marketing grande consommation. Nous avons deux filles de respectivement 5 ans et 15 mois.

We are a French-Argentinian couple and have been living in Barcelona for 6 years now. I work in management consulting and my husband is a marketing porfessional in consumer goods. We have two daughters, aged 5 years old and 16 months.

Destination

Nous sommes intéressés particulièrement par les villes suivantes
- Ville de Paris ou bien Nogent sur Marne (proche de notre famille) pour les vacances scolaires et pour Noel /Jour de l´An
- Montpellier pour des échanges d´un week-end

Nous sommes ouverts à d´autres propositions, mais plutôt des séjours courts (1 semaine) et pendant les vacances scolaires. L´échange peut ne pas être simultané, et vous pouvez commencer par venir sur Barcelone au mois d aout, pendant que nous serons partis.

We are especially interested in:
- Paris city or Nogent sur Marne (we have family there) during school holidays and for Christmas/New Year's Eve
- Montpellier for week-ends

We are also opened to other destinations, but preferably for rather short stays (one week) and during school holidays. It does not have be a simultaneous exchange; you could come first to our place during august 2008.
