Description

Beautiful refurbished farmhouse sitting in the heart of a river valley overlooking the hills of kilkenny in the distance. It is 2 miles from Thomastown and Bennetsbridge and 7 miles from Kilkenny city.
There are two living rooms and a large eat in Kitchen dining room.
There is a large sun trap courtyard and a west facing lawn.
The house has three bedrooms one ensuite, and a large bathroom with an old style roll top bath.It has thick walls so it is cool in summer and warm in winter.There are also two woodburning stoves and sat tv. There is a separate laundry room with washer/dryer.

Neighborhood

Near Mt juliet /conrad house and spa and the river Nore. There are neighbours but they are a couple of fields away. THE mT jULIET ESTATE IS AN HISTORIC COUNTRY ESTATE THAT IS NOW OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND HAS A SPA AND A WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF COURSE. tHE NEAREST ENTERANCE GATE IS 300 YARDS FROM THE HOUSE.YOU ARE CLOSE TO THE RIVER NORE AND THE LOVELY MEDIEVAL CITY OF KILKENNY

WE ARE A YOUNG FAMILY WITH ONE CHILD SO THERE ARE LOTS OF TOYS.WE LOVE THE COUNTRYSIDE AND WALKING AND CYCLING AND HORSES AND GOLF.

Destination

This is a beautiful converted Farmhouse in Kilkenny county near Kilkenny city and Thomastown. It has all mod cons and is very scenic ,It is used as our second home and we would like something near the sea and Melbourne preferably. Our dates are flexible and we would like to visit this year .Christmas time is an option as well
