Neighborhood

Most prestigious and sought after section of Manhattan: 5 minutes walk to Lincoln Center (home of Metropolitan Opera, New York Philharmonic, New York City Ballet and Opera), near Central Park, Metropolitan and other museums, Broadway theaters, Hudson River boardwalk, hundreds of best restaurants, cafes, shopping, 2 minutes walk to subway and buses.

About Us

My husband is a musician with the New York Philharmonic orchestra, I am a poet, and a muse. We both are non-smokers, middle-aged, and are experienced travelers and home-exchangers. We respect other people's property, and expect the same from our home-exchange partners. We have also a big house with a garden, in New Jersey, 6 kilometers from Manhattan. That could be considered for an exchange, too. Excellent public transportation. Our exchange does not have to be simultaneous. Our Apartment will be available from July 16 - September 15,2008, but we need to be in London only
from August 23 -August 30,2008.

Destination

Non-simultaneous exchange would be fine: our New York apartment (or New Jersey house!) would be available from July 16 - September 15, 2008. Our dates in London are fixed (August 23 - 30, 2008). We are looking for a clean, tastefully furnished, spacious apartment, in the building with an elevator, on a safe and quiet street in London, preferably close to Royal Albert Hall.
