Description

The Villa Hermes is located on the Capitou hill of Mandelieu on 2,000 square meters of private land. The view from the property is a panorama view of the bays of Cannes and Mandelieu as well as the Lerines Islands. This French Riviera setting is within a short distance to the villages of Mougins,Grasse,St Tropez, St. Paul de Vence and the jewels of the Riviera, Nice and Cannes and Monaco.

The gated property is entered by a private drive and is comprised of a brand new Californian style marbled floor house with terra cotta tile roofs. The house is up for rent and will comfortably sleep up to 8 people. There are several terraces, both sunny and shaded, a new swimming pool overlooking the Mediterranean, and olive, mimosa and eucaliptus trees. A wonderful variety of flowers including jasmine, lavender and hydrangeas grace the property.

Neighborhood

Mandelieu is a 5 minutes drive to glamourous Cannes, 25 minutes drive to Nice airport, 45 minutes drive to Monaco, 1 hour to Saint Tropez and aproximately 4.5 hours away from cities like Barcelona, Geneve and Florence. Less than 2 hours drive to Isola 2000, a major all winter/spring skiing station in the region. Plenty of gastronomic restaurants around.
An extremely rich culturally speaking region with 3 major symphonic orchestras, Monte Carlo, Nice and Cannes. Great opera and theater as well as a great number of museums and "ateliers" of painters like Picasso, Van Gogh, Mattise, etc., etc. 1.5 hours away from beautiful Aix-in-Provence, Romanesque Arles, history loaded Avignon and many other villages. 30 minutes away from the Cote de Provence route du Vine (wine route) and about 1 hour away from the Gorges of Verdon a breathtaking canyon and ideal place to stride along.
