Description

Our apartment is a beautiful spacious pre-war 150 qm apartment on the top floor with a lift. There are two large bedrooms, the back one looks over a tree filled courtyard and is very quiet. In addition there are living and dining rooms, a giant fully outfitted modern kitchen, modern bath, and a balcony that gets sun all afternoon. It is very comfortable, but not fancy. We have DSL, Wifi, and all appliances, except a t.v.
We have a five year old, so the apartment is fairly kid friendly and there are toys to play with.

Neighborhood

Our apartment is in west Berlin, just off the famous Ku'damm. It is a great residential area, but within easy reach of all the interesting sights that Berlin has to offer. We are well connected to buses, S & U bahns to take you all over the city, the Wansee and Potsdamm. There are also bikes available for use -- the best way to see Berlin.
There are nice squares with cafes and restaurants nearby, and great little shops for wine, veggies, bread, etc. There is a playground across the street, and several more within easy walking distance.

About Us

We are a german/american couple in our 40s with a five year old boy. We are, of course, very responsible and really nice.

Destination

We've book tickets for New York on the dates mentioned, but do not need the NYC apartment the whole time. We plan to visit friends and family in the NYC area and would use the apartment for a home base.
