Description

This is our primary residence, a 1730 sq. ft. condo located in upscale building with 24 hour concierge, pool, athletic centre, party room, sauna and movie facility. Car exchange may be discussed. Our apartment is fully equipped with all major kitchen appliances including dishwasher and microwave; there is one videorecorder, one video and disk recorder and one video and disk player. A computer can be made available if desired; although bedroom sleeps two there is also a convertible sofa in the living room.

Neighborhood

The neighbourhood, although quiet, is at the heart of downtown two minutes from the subway system and is in the middle of the theatre and financial districts (three of the theatres are a block away, seven more are within a 15 minute walk). The major concert hall is also a 15 minute walk (underground if desired), the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Royal Ontario Museum are 10 minutes away by public transit. six movie screens, the farmers market and the nearest supermarket (open 24/7) are five minutes walk away. The area is a Heritage District with many of the older buildings of architectural interest preserved by law. This location is at the edge of a walking district; there is also a small park directly across the street. There are at least 20 restaurants within a five block walk as well as the fast food outlets (many of them of quite good standards) in North America's largest underground concourse a block and a half away

About Us

We are two retired lawyers presently actively engaged in administering and teaching Continuing Education in an organization for people who are retired. The husband is a science fiction fan, the wife's interests are health and history.
