Description

My place is very, very small: there are only two bedrooms (up to four people), a toilette with the shower (not tub) and a small kitchen. And each room is very simply-furnitured. There are two gorgeous terraces, though: a smaller one is just outside the kitchen, and it is a sort of patio, so that you can eat your lunch outside, enjoying a great panorama, since this terrace can be considered a sort of "balcony" onto the seaside. The largest terrace is surrounded by the Mediterranean vegetation; it faces the seaside too, and gives you the chance to "sunbath" in absolute privacy and peace. There is no air conditioning, but the seaside is always rather windy, so usually air-conditioning is not something necessary.

Neighborhood

The location of my house: it's in Salina, that is a small isle, belonging to the Aeolian Islands, an archipelago off the Sicilian northern coast. Salina is a very quiet and green place. If you're looking for discos and glittering shopping-centres do NOT go there. If you are looking for a quiet place where you can relax, enjoy a clean sea, go trekking up to a 965 metres (2,800 feet) volcano,... well, in this case you'll like it. Salina can also be used as the starting-base from which to go to the other six islands by either ship or hydrofoil.

About Us

We are two teachers in our forties: Lino is a marathon runner; Vincenzo a teacher of IT, fond of computers and cellular telephones. We don't smoke and don't drink alcohol.
