Maison

We live in a modern home situated on a canal with direct access to the ocean on Queenslands Sunshine Coast. Caloundra is a family vacation destination only 1 hour from Brisbane. The master bed has a queen size bed with ensuite and walk in robe and TV overlooking the water. There are two other double bedrooms and a seperate study/computer room which can also be used as a 4th bedroom. The large kitchen is fully fitted with modern appliances. The family area which overlooks the pool and the wide expanse of water has large TV, DVD with surround sound. There are three outdoor living areas, one which is a deck situated directly over the water. Another which is a separate fully enclosed pool area has large umberella for shade with lounges and BBQ area. Lots of books to read, high speed wireless internet access with a beautiful relaxing environment. A 4 Wheel drive car is also available for use.

Quartier

We live in a quiet cul-de-sac within walking distance to the local shops. We also have bikes for you to use whilst staying at our home. There are a number of bike paths along the beach as well as around the town. Our home is 1 hour north of Brisbane airport on Queenslands, Sunshine Coast. Caloundra is traditionally a small tourist seaside town where families come for the holidays. There is boating, surfing, fishing, golf and all other water sports to be enjoyed. Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo is only 20 mintue drive and the Coastal hinterland with it's beautiful walks and waterfalls is only a 30 mintute drive.

À propos de nous

We are a couple in our early fifties Kim, a Lawyer and Vicki, small business owner. We have three children who are independent Nick (28), Caitlin (25) and Ashlee (22), they will sometimes travel with us. We have 2 gorgeous cocker spaniel dogs (Monty & Lucy) who love company. We will treat your home as our own. We have recently had our 1st house exchange and found it a great experience.

Destination

We have an exchange in Canada in Oct 2009.

We have recently arranged an exchange in London from April 20th 2010, however we are looking for 10 days either hospitality or exchange from April 10-20 in Belguim or France. Our home will be available to you from April 1 - 30 if this suitable.
