Description

We live in a modern home situated on a canal with direct access to the ocean on Queenslands Sunshine Coast. Caloundra is a family vacation destination only 1 hour from Brisbane. The master bed has a queen size bed with ensuite and walk in robe and TV overlooking the water. There are two other double bedrooms and a seperate study/computer room. The large kitchen is fully fitted with modern appliances and the family area which overlooks the pool and the wide expanse of water has large TV, DVD with surround sound. There are three outdoor living areas, one which is a deck situated directly over the water. Another which is a separate fully enclosed pool area has large umberella for shade with lounges and BBQ eating. Lots of books to read, internet access with a beautiful relaxing environment. A 4 Wheel drive car is also available for use.

Neighborhood

We live in a quiet cul-de-sac within walking distance to the local shops. We also have bikes for you to use whilst staying at our home. There are a number of bike paths along the beach as well as around the town. Our home is 1 hour north of Brisbane airport on Queenslands, Sunshine Coast. Caloundra is traditionally a small tourist seaside town where families come for the holidays. There is boating, surfing, fishing, golf and all other water sports to be enjoyed. Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo is only 20 mintue drive and the Coastal hinterland with it's beautiful walks and waterfalls is only a 30 mintute drive.

About Us

We are Kim (55) a Lawyer and Vicki (52) a Mobile Phone Shop owner. We have three children, Nick (28) a pilot, Caitlin (25) studing Dietetics and Ashlee (22) studing pharmacy. We also have 2 cocker spaniel dogs (Monty & Lucy). We would prefer if the dogs could stay at home with Caitlin coming to the house to feed and care for them, but if this is a problem other arrangements can be made. We are both keen travellers, Kim enjoys golfing, fishing and all codes of football. Vicki enjoys going to the gym, gardening and reading.
