Description

Our house is unique in that it has 3 separate living areas, each self contained. There is a 2 bedroom, a 3 bedroom, both on the ground floor and a studio unit on the 1st floor. The house is 17 years old, has off street parking for 3 cars and is located 1.5 km from the beach.
As well as a 9 mt x 4 mt swimming pool the property has ample grassed areas for games or for children to play. The overall property size is 927 sq. mt. Outdoor living is the go in the tropics and we mainly entertain in our outdoor covered area 6mt x 4 mt that overlooks the pool.
The back of the house has expansive views of the tropical ranges that are a feature of the Cairns area.
Stepping out the back gate you enter a sports reserve where you can experience Tennis (4 courts for hire), Baseball, Soccer, AFL football, Polocrosse, Lawn Balls and a Skate Board Park. There is also a Fitness Centre a short walking distance.

Neighborhood

Trinity Beach is located 20 km north of Cairns. It is one of the premier beaches in the Cairns region. It is an easy suburb to get around on both foot or bicycle as it is mostly flat.
The suburb has its own shopping centre with a variety of specialty shops and services. The beach also has several restaurants as well as a pub most of which look out onto the Pacific Ocean.
If you are into sports the area has an abundance of facilities that are available to the general public. Beside the sports I have already mentioned you also have 2 golf courses within 5 minutes drive as well as a cable ski park. Wind surfing and kite surfing are also available at Yorkey's Knob Beach. Due to the climate most sports operate all year round.

About Us

We are a family of four Paul (53) and Leslie (50) and our daughters Amelia (19) and Clare (15). We moved to Cairns from Sydney in 1992 to get away from the rat-race and enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle. We haven't regretted the move one bit.

Destination

We are looking to visit Sydney for 2 weeks,late Sept. to eaely Oct. for a family reunion. If you are interested in an exchange Cairns is beautiful this time of year.
