Boulevard St Laurent travels from river to river, North to South (Montreal is an island) making it the division or center of Montreal which determines East or West Montreal.
We are located on Boulevard St. Laurent in Little Italy/Mile End district. This neighborhood is fun and full of life. Located very close to downtown but yet away from the downtown skyscrapers with the large commercialized franchises. At night the streets light up with the local, cozy neighborhood restaurants and cafes making it a more enjoyable travel experience and gives you the opportunity to live the real Montreal life-style.
6-8 minute walk to underground metro station (subway) for easy, simple access anywhere in Montreal.
8 minute subway ride to Downtown where the Jazz Festival and Just for Laugh Festival (among many others) take place throughout the summer or the Old Port of Montreal (very popular tourist attraction)
8 minutes by foot to Montreal's largest outdoor Farmer's/food market (Marche Jean Talon). Endless amounts of restaurants,cafes, boutiques along boulevard and /or side streets.
10-12 minute walk to Jarry Parc (large green space) where International Tennis Championships are held.
8 minute bus ride to Mount Royal mountain for a view of the city (famous tourist spot). Mount Royal is an excellent place for walking,biking,jogging or getting away from city landscape..,
Reason we chose to live here: Closest European life style district in Montreal. Many recent Europeans that choose to live in Montreal tend to purchase in this area. Outdoor market provides fresh local products for healthy living. Local food shops provide every type of European product. Great restaurants and cafes for everybody's budget from high end to local hip eateries at extremely reasonable prices. It is known for its restaurants and cafes.

Chi siamo

Young married professionals ( no children yet). Marjorie is a Public Relations executive and Pat a manager in a transport company. We speak English and French but also intermediate italian.
