Description

Our house is situated down a private country road. It is a 3 year old solid masonry house, single level with 2 steps down to the living, dining and kitchen area which all have 3.5m ceiling heights. Four double sized bedrooms, master bedroom having ensuite and all but one bedroom having bi-fold doors with decks taking advantage of magnificent views. Coming out of the front of the house there are steps taking you down to a fully enclosed pool area. The pool is heated with a BBQ area under a tropical Gazebo.

Neighborhood

The neighbourhood consists of four houses being only 2-4 minute walk away. We all share a private access to small private beach on the harbour, which takes 5 minutes to walk down to or can be accessed by car .We have caneoes available that you can use on the harbour aswell. We are only 10 minutes drive around the harbour to one of New Zealands safest swimming beaches, Ohope Beach. Which consists of two small restaraunt/cafes, pharmacy/Dr and 3 convenience stores. We are 20 minutes from Whakatane which is a bigger township and an hours drive from the tourist city of Rotorua and Tauranga. There is fantastic fishing/diving, tours to White Island, New Zealands only active marine volcano. Excellent bushwalking and tramping. Hunting for the adventurists. Or just soaking up the sun in New Zealands sunshine capital!

About Us

We are a family of five. Children currently 5, 3 and 2. We have a little lifestyle block with 3 sheep, and 4 chickens that keep us fed on free range eggs and one cat! We both work together in our own automotive repair buisness, and before having the children we also ran a successful catering buisness, and being a chef we are interested in food and cooking. We have a seven seater 2005 Nissan Pathfinder which is available for use .

Destination

Must be a simultaneous exchange, dates could be flxible 3 or 4 days either side of preferred dates. Would prefer Hawaii in the US, Goldcoast or Cairns in Australia, Bay of Islands in New Zealand.
