I live near to the subway station "porte de clichy" (line 13). 10 minutes subway distance to St lazare station and the "Champs elysee". It's in the north-west of Paris, also very close to montmarte.Their also has differentes bus day and night ( every 10 min the day and 15 min all night).
My neighborhood in hisself isn't very particular but i love it, it represente the true paris, a lot of people from different country and a lot of student and hotels.
A full service laundry and dry cleaning center as well as supermarkets are just steps from the apartment .
My apartment is in the 6th floor and my building didn't have elevator but i do it several time a day since 8 months and for me it's not really a issue but i tell you in case it's a issue for you.
