Three-storey sea-side house in a very touristic Basque village, Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Garden (800m2) with 2 terraces, kitchen, living, open dinner room, large screen tv on mezzanine, 2 bedrooms,1 bathroom ,1 WC downstair and 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 WC upstairs. Washing machine, dishwascher, microwave, dryer. Separate flat on gardenstairs with 2 bedrooms,1 shower,Wc , 4 sleeps(altogether: 7 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens in the house on 3 floors).Simple but comfortable for family hollidays.
This house is very convenient for two family because there is a little separate flat at the garden floor (3 bedrooms, one shower, 1 WC, kitchen) and a separate terrace.
DIRECT FLIHTS from Paris/London/DUblin (1h30)to BIARRITZ AIRPORT (15mn drive; taxis: 20 euros); TGV DIRECT ligne from PARIS (5h).
Second house AVAILABLE all the year except some shool hollidays . Marvellous in June and September (not crowded), very touristic on summer time. Beach is very safe for children.

Neighborhood

In Saint-Jean-de-Luz: very nice and typical Basque village; family atmosphere at the beach(downtown central beach is very safe); our area: downtown but green area. Villas with little garden all around.Nice and friendly families around.
You can walk to the beach (15mn) or ride (5mn). Big supermarket 15 mn drive. Biarritz town and airport at 20mn driving. Taxis for St Jean de Luz at the Airport (20 euros). Spain at 30 mn drive (San sebastien,..).Activities: Very nice golf, tennis, watersports (alot of surf clubs for your teenagers!),beachclubs for children, windsurfing etc...Hiking in french or spanish Pyrennées is great.
Very sunny and charming beach area, very much in demand during summer. Ideal with children.

About Us

We're a french family living in Paris center.We have got 3 teenagers ( Damien 15-16, Eric 14-15, Albane 12-13 ) and no pets.
We have to plan our trip in America a long time in advance (6-8 months minimum) for professionals reasons: summer 2009 now.

Student exchange: if your son would love to discover France for a short stay? Our sons would love to discover some of the main towns of the US East Coast (NY,Washington,Boston...)too. We are open to a friendly 2 ways student exchange, in Paris or WSouth France for summer. As everybody speak english in the family, speaking french is not necessary. Our sons are experimented travellers/student exchangers. You can find us on lingoo.eu website.
