Description

Our house is a charming village house from 1920 located in Beersel (welknown for its many restaurants) just outside Brussels. Our house is used to children (we have three 13,11 and 3) and the decoration is very informal and relaxed. We have a high chair and babybed for young kids. Two of the bedrooms are on the second floor together with a bathroom with shower. On the first floor is the kitchen and living area + two bedrooms and a bathroom with bathtub. Also there's a large terrace connected with the kitchen for eating outside in the summer. Downstairs are our studios which will be closed off, and a large garden with a swing, terraced corner with garden furniture and plenty of room to play for the kids.

Neighborhood

Beersel is a quiet village with easy car acces to Brussels. There's a bakery, a pharmacy, a newspaper agancy and a buthcher in town and the nearest supermarket is 5 minutes down the road. There is plenty of possibilities of beatiful walks in the surroundings directly from the house. Beersel also accomodates a famous castle from the middleages + many good restaurants.

About Us

We are a Danish Belgian couple with three children aged 13, 11 and 3.
I work partly as a freelance translator and teacher at the school of interior design in Brussels. My husband is an artist and teaches at the school of architecture in Brussels.
