About Us

I'm Howie. I was born in a coastal town near Boston called Nantasket--after an American Indian. I am 60 and still very active as a social worker in a community mental health center. My wife Rivka, who is an Israeli from Netanya is turning 60 in April. She is a full time Hebrew language teach at a Jewish Highschool, Gann Academy.
We have two grown children. Leeore, born in Israel at Hillel Yaffe is 31 and is studying for his PhD in Comparative Literature from Princeton University. He is currently residing in Berlin studying German. Our daughter, Nili, born at Liniardo Hospital, is 28 and a 5th grade teacher in Hopkinton, a suburb of Boston.
Upstairs to us is Abbe, a single parent with Sydney her 7 year old daughter. They are like family. Below is is Colleen, a nursing student and her husband Chris, a house painter and artist--all extremely helpful, friendly and warm people

Destination

Would like to stay within reasaonable commuting to Central Israel given that our family and friends are in Yoknam, Netanya, Pardes Hanna, Zichron. We like views if possible, proximity to water, and hills.
