Description

Home, built in 2001, located in semi isolated area (25 homes in Sylvan Lakes subdivision, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of acres of national forest). Lot has 250' frontage to national forest. Located 8 miles north of Leadville CO in Lake County. Covered deck on 2 sides with BBQ. Wood burning stove takes chill off, but heated with propane. No need for air conditioning as elevation is 10,400'. Full kitchen and laundry facilities. 2 All Terain Vehicles (ATVs, Honda 450 & 400 cc) available for use as well as vehicle (2001 Subaru or 2001 Suburban (seats 8)). For those who like outdoor activity with pleasant amenities in the evening. Leadville, pop 2500, nearby for shopping, dining, etc.

Neighborhood

We ski in winter, hike, boat, fish, ride ATVs, hunt mushrooms, engage in shooting activities, rest of year. Great place to relax as very little noise being in the middle of a national forest area.

About Us

I am an attorney, my wife is an administrator in my law office (5 attorneys, 12 other employees) in Denver. The mountain home is less than 2 hours from Denver. We try to get to our "cabin" every weekend as well as weeks during summer and ski season.

Destination

Does not have to be a simultaneous exchange. We are planning on traveling with old college friend, now an economics professor at George Mason University and affiliated with the University of Baltimore and his wife. Another couple may join us too.

We are targeting the Tuscany area.

We would like to arrive on a Fri, stay that weekend and the following weekend, maybe 2 weekends and leave on Mon.
