Description

Our large single-family home lies in Magallanes Village, a gated community in Metro Manila that boasts tennis courts, parks, a grocery store and Starbucks all within walking distance. Here you are just a 10 minute drive from bustling Makati, the commercial and business centre of Manila, but miraculously sheltered from the noise and rough realities outside. The MRT is a 15-minute walk but if it's hot you can call the gate guard and ask him to send in a taxi. Our live-in Philippina maid can help with laundry and cleaning so that you can enjoy your time here to the maximum. We are also on the south side of town, so the closest gated community to the international airport just 20 minutes away. What else can I say... if you are curious about the Philippines and want a safe, tranquil base near to everything including flights to beaches and resorts, you can't do better than here!

Neighborhood

More about the house: you will find both boys' and girls' toys here and a variety of children DVDs as well. We have cable TV and high-speed wireless internet access.

About Us

We are a professional couple with two children aged 5 and 7. My husband is an anthropologist at the Asian Development Bank and I am a freelance translator/editor.

Destination

We are mainly interested in visiting Asian countries and Australia at this time.
