Description

A modern (2003) and spacious appartment with a low maintainance garden. Underground garage with direct elevator access to the appartment. The view from our garden/terrasse is quite impressive with beautiful sunsets especially during summer time.

Neighborhood

Berikon is a little village about a 30 minutes drive from the city of Zurich. It is located in a very attractive countryside, surrounded by woods and farmland. Uncountable walking and hiking trails start or pass through Berikon. A true jogging/biking eldorado with a very varied landscape. Berikon offers all day-by-day facilities such as supermarkets, drugstores, banking services, garages, restaurants. Several public swimming-pools are within 10 minutes driving distance. It is an ideal starting point for any visit in Switzerland, France or Germany (approx 60 driving minutes to the borders). The drive to Italy takes about 3 hours by car. The international airport of Zurich can be reached within 25 minutes by car.

Our flat is part of a 4-flat-appartment-house. Most of our neighbours have children aged from 1 to 9. They are all easy going and we do have quite a close relationship with all of them.

The next public transportation stop is only 5 walking minutes away.

About Us

We are a family of 4 (soon 5). Lukas is 4 years old and goes to kindergarden. Lea is 8 and goes to primary school. My wife Elin, 39, is taking care of the household. My name is Stephan, 38, and I am working for an international consulting company.
In June 2008 we expect our 3rd child.
We all enjoy outdoor activties, going to the cinema and travelling. My wife is Norwegian and I am Swiss. At home we speak Norwegian and our two kids are fully bi-lingual.
Our car is a Citroen C8 with 7 seats and a lot of space - the perfect vehicle for trips.

Destination

We would like to be in reasonable distance to the seaside. An own swimming-pool would be great but is not a must. In warmer areas we prefer locations with aircondition. 2 bathrooms is a must. Exchange should be simultaneous.

We are rather flexible regarding the dates, but the stay should take place during the first half of 2009.
