1910 craftsman colonial with period details but updated with modern conveniences. 5 bedrooms with one on the first floor (den with pullout sofa), 2 full baths. Lovely front porch to sip iced tea/cocktails and people watch. Cozy patio with BBQ and comfortable outdoor dining set.

Neighborhood

Ocean Grove is a small, quaint new jersey beach community. It has its roots as a methodist camp and today still has over 100 seasonal tents. The town has many restored Victorian homes and structures. The town center is lovely with coffee houses, cafes, bakeries, cheese/gourmet store, restaurants, galleries and shops. Our home is 2 blocks to the town center. The town is very diverse with young families, couples and gay and lesbian folks too. Our home is within walking distance to a commuter train to New York City which is 60 miles north. Our home is 4 blocks to a beautiful beach. Although high season is June-mid September, the new jersey shore is also beautiful in the spring and the fall and provides stark beauty and superb peace and quiet in the winter.

About Us

We are two middle aged women who love to travel in the USA as well as internationally.
I am retired as a purchasing agent for a large company, have an MBA in e-commerce and human resources.My traveling companion still works full-time as a psychiatrist in private practice.
We are experienced home exchangers with 6 previous exchanges.

Destination

Since this is a 2nd home it can be a non-simultaneous exchange. We are open to all regions and our dates are flexible. We do wish to visit Hawaii in June of 2009 (with 2 other adults).
