It is a combination of old and new, from the cobbled streets of the sold town to the ultra modern glass covered Princes Quay shopping centre. The marina forms an elegant focal point and is just minutes walk away from the city’s fine selection of museums, shops and attractions. It is within easy travelling distance from the historical towns of York, Beverley and Lincoln and is an ideal touring base. Hull is situated on the Humber Estuary and North Sea Ferries sail daily to Holland and Belgium. It is approximately 200 miles from the capital London and is served by a local Airport (Humberside) which is on the South Bank of the Estuary (20 miles away). Hull has two professional Rugby League sides and one Soccer club. Headingly (Leeds) Cricket ground the venue for internationals is 60 miles away. Old Trafford (Manchester) which hosts international Rugby League matches is 120 miles to the West.

About Us

I am a school teacher in my early 50's. My partner is a sales rep of a similar age. We have taken part in successful exchanges to Australia, Canada and Spain, We are open to a swap to anywherein Europe but are restricted to the English School holidays.
