The living areas are expansive and all open plan. The furnishings are a mix of modern and antique. The whole apartment is centrally heated and there is also a wall switch operated gas fireplace. The views from the living area are some of the best in Wellington. The apartment is on the second floor and enjoys great privacy.

Outdoor living/Deck
Two sets of large sliding doors open out onto an expansive deck which wraps around the front of the apartment. There is a hooded bbq and a 6 seater dining table on which to enjoy al fresco dining.

Bathrooms
As well as the en suite there is also a large tiled second bathroom including separate shower and bath. There is also a guest toilet off the hallway.

Neighborhood

Oriental Bay has been described as the French Riviera of New Zealand. Our apartment enjoys expansive views of the harbour and sky line. Oriental Parade is completely flat and perfect for walking and jogging around the coast line. Within minutes walk are Wellingtons vibrant cafes and restaurants. Public transportation is literally at your door step should you prefer this to private car.

About Us

My wife and I are semi-retired and having spent a number of holidays in the UK have decided to try and stay a little more long term. Our eventual aim is to buy a property in London and spend half the year abroad. We are essentially testing the water this time round and a house swap would be an ideal way for us to stay without committing whole heartedly to living in London.

I am the owner of a successful Wellington Real Estate company and have previously engaged in a London house swap. My wife and I are both non-smokers and non-drinkers who are concerned with fitness and healthy lving.

Destination

Looking only for London accommodation. We would ideally like to start 01/05/08 for a period of four to six months.
