Description

Come enjoy the ocean and fabulous ocean views. This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house is our vacation home in Mexico. It is located in the prestigious community of Las Gaviotas and accessable by flights to Tijuana, Mexico (20 min drive) or from San Diego, CA USA (30 minute drive). It is fully equipped with everything for a holiday. The house is used as a vacation rental and as such the closets, dressers, etc will not contain our personal items. A car (Lincoln Navigator) could be available, however insurance would need to be purchased for approximately $25 US per day. The community is gated and guarded 24 hours a day and contains a swimming pool, hot tub, shuffleboard, tennis, and beach access. The beach is one of the best surfing beaches and is known by most Los Angeles area surfers. Since we do not use this home full time, we are flexible as to the time of the exchange. It does not necessarily have to correlate with our visit.

Neighborhood

Las Gaviotas is a gated and guarded beachside community just 20 miles south of the US/San Diego border. It has an excellent beach for sunbathing and is considered one of the top surfing beaches. The community has a large heated pool, a hot tub, shuffleboard, playground, and tennis. Puerto Nuevo, considered the lobster village, is 1 mile south. Here, you can get lobster with beans and rice for an incredibly inexpensive price. Fox studios is just 5 miles north. This is where the Titanic and South Pacific was filmed. In fact, Kate Winslet stayed at one of the houses in Las Gaviotas while they were filming. You can visit the studios and enjoy the activities that exist there. The town of Rosarito is approximately 8 miles north of Las-Gaviotas and has lots of shopping and restaurants. World class golf courses are close by and horseback riding is available on the beach. In addition, you can go across the border and visit San Diego or Los Angeles.

About Us

My husband and I are located in Los Gatos, CA, a community close to San Jose California, the heart of Silicon Valley. We have two children, ages 13 and 15. My husband is a high technology executive and although I was originally in high tech, I now stay at home to shuttle the kids and handle the property management business. We love to travel and have both lived and worked in England, Paris, and Singapore.

Destination

Dates are flexible. In addition, we do not have to do an equal trade. Our properties are also rented, so we could charge and additional amount if the stay was longer. In addition, we could pay an additional amount if appropriate.
