Description

We live in a light and comfortable apartment in Amsterdam. We love the fact that it has windows on all four sides. It has a hardwood floor and is furnished cosy but not overcrowded. We love to cook so the kitchen is well equiped. As we have a baby son the apartment is suitable for kids.

Neighborhood

Our apartment is located in a trendy family friendly neighborhood on the edge of the city centre. There are lots of nice bars, restaurants, a day market and two great parks within walking distance. One of the parks is host to various music festivals during the summer months. Though close to everything, our street is very quiet. Right next to our apartment is a pictoresque canal with traditional canal houses. You can take either a tram or a bike into the city centre. Both take about ten minutes.

About Us

I (31) am an assistant professor in sociology and my husband (33) teaches leisure management. We have a lovely son of 1,5. We love to live in Amsterdam and enjoy the many things the city has to offer.
