Description

Typical tuscan, three storeys village house. Simply but comfortably furnished (Ikea style). Suitable accomodation for 4-6 people. Children warmly welcome. Kitchen, taverne and laundry at ground floor, living room and 'study' room for children at first, two bedrooms and a studio 'under the roof'.
Our house is simple but has loads of positive energy. Because we laugh, we are curious, we are hospitable people that would welcome nice fellows from all over Europe (we are open to proposals) on a swap basis.
I'm florentine and am able to give useful advice as to experience Tuscany in a non conventional manner. Willing and ready to send pictures and lots of infos if asked to. See (read from) you soon!... Michele and Susan

Neighborhood

Quiet, friendly village in the countryside. Short walk to public transportation. Florence at half an hor by train. The village is small (600 people) and we all know each other here. Accomodation ideal for whom seeks serenity and simplicity. The village is in the municipality of Scarperia, amongst "the hundred most beautiful borroughs in Italy" because of its middle ages heritage. There are several celebrations and village 'fiestas' in late spring and throughout the summer.

About Us

I am a biologist (50) and work as an environmental consultant for public administrations. My wife (50) is physiotherapist. We have two children: Martina (11) and Gionata (9). We have also two cats: Fifo (black) and Gigio (grey). We speak english, french, german, spanish, dutch (een beetje). Once more: willing to make friends and realize that we are all - just and happily - human!.

Destination

In case it's needed, it can be a non-simultaneous exchange. Dates are very flexible. Most welcome contacts from France (Ile de France if possible), England, Spain, Scandinavia. Open to proposals from all over Europe (and beyond), anyways.
