Description

Nice and simple 2 bedrooms appartment (~ 52m²) situated on the 6th floor under the roof.
There is a large and sunny living room with high ceiling and visible beams.
1 bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom is smaller and equipped with a "futon" sofabed. There is also a pull out sofa (bed) in the living room.
Small and very functional kitchen and bathroom.
All conveniences are there: Computer, Internet Access, Flatscreen TV, washing machine, tumbler

Neighborhood

The appartment is located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, 3 minutes walk away from the Champs Elysees (the most beautyful Avenue in the world !)
You will find everything very close to the appartment: many shops Shopping galleries, designer stores, Museums, Cinemas, Restaurants, Bars.
It won't take you much time to reach all worth places in Paris. the closest Metro station is at 5minutes walk only. You'll reach the Eiffel tower ior the Louvre Museum in less than 10 minutes by metro.

About Us

Christian (44) and I (Yolande, 38) like travelling and would like to visit as many places as possible....if only we would have more time.
Christian is owning his own transport company and I work for a designer brand in the fashion branch.
Christian has two daughters, 10 & 6 years old, who stay at home half of the school holidays. They would take part in a home exchange only during August holidays.
We also have a very cool and adorable cat named "chat" who we would arrange to be cared for elsewhere if necessary.
Christians speaks only french. I speak French, English and German fluently and get along quite well with italian, Spanish or Portuguese.
Christian has two passions which are gliding and sports cars.
I prefer horse riding, learning languages and animals, but anyhow my job is one of my passions itself as I love fashion and clothes.

Destination

First of all we would like to make a home swap from May 8 to May 17, 2008 in New York.
We have only this frame for this year and have also planned to get married ther. Of course if you want to stay for two full weeks we'll get it arranged.
Other Home exchanges would be more concentrated on August holidays, as we would do them with Christian's daughters. we would prefer Europe for these exchanges, but remain opened for any destinations.
Extended week-ends or short time exchanges (May or November) may also be possible.
