Description

Accomodations are simple - cozy, clean & quiet. Approximately 1200 sq. ft., on the ground floor in an attractive 4-family house built into a hillside, with a sunny southern exposure. Our eat-in kitchen has a wood-burning stove & French doors opening on to a large, partially covered terrace that overlooks Seidel Park, with the Alps beyond. A Clavinova is available for your use, as well as an old 2-person sail boat, and 4 bicycles.

Neighborhood

Our pleasant little neighborhood is across the street from a park, with lots of large trees. We have 3 lakes within 3 miles of us, & lots of walking & bike trails through the Moor & the Alps. 1/4 mile to bus, 1/2 mile to the charming Market area. A lovely town to simply experience, but plenty of activities and sights for all interests. Austria, Switzerland & Italy offer plentiful day-trip destinations or overnights.

About Us

We are 4 - Geza (50) is in sales, with family nearby in Augsburg; Laura ("mid-forties") works in medical administration; Nicole (13) can't wait to go "shopping anywhere", and Francesca (9), who wants to play with Grandma's 2 Bishon Frise, Daisy & Cooper.
We live simply and happily, with our old cat, who will stay with Oma in Augsburg while we're gone. We speak English when Laura is home, German if she's not, & Geza speaks German & Hungarian with his family. Laura suspects he can tell off-color jokes in other languages, but isn't certain.

Destination

We are hoping to go to Rome in May 2008 for a week or so, between 10 - 23 May.
In August, we would love to spend about 3 weeks (3-23 Aug) visiting family in Flower Mound, Texas.
