We would like to swap homes : your New York (Manhattan) from the 20th to the 30th of August 2008 for our huge 300 square meters appartment in the very center of Paris from April the 25th to May the 12th. Located in the historical neighborhood of Le Marais, this unique three floors appartments will ravish you. 4 rooms and 4 bathrooms (main room with a view on the Eiffel tower), high-speed internet, cable TV, washing and cleaning machine, this appartment is incredibly confortable. Calm, with a lot of light, designed by an architect, this appartment is located in a nice old buildind with elevator. With a lot of space and all the modern comfort, this appartment will make your stay in Paris just unforgettable.

Neighborhood

Ideally located, the appartment is in the very center of Paris, where you can find everything. It's 5 min by foot from the Picasso museum and the place de la République, 10 min from the place des vosges and the Pompidou center (modern art museum of Paris), 15 min from the place de la Bastille and the place de l'hôtel de ville (Paris cityhall) and 20 min from Notre-dame (Paris cathedral) and 30 min from the Louvre (main museum of Paris). Off course every shops, restaurants, cafés, bars, etc. that you can imagine are just two minuts by foot from the appartment. There is a supermarket just around the corner as well as a typical french market.

About Us

We are a young but very mature married couple. My husband is a PhD in biology and I gratuated in political sciences. We are both no smoking people. Very responsible and reliable, we've already exchanged homes before and it was a great experience. We both speak english and French (but I also speak german, spanish and portuguese). The appartment is my family's appartment but my parents are also experienced exchange people and agree to let the flat from April the 25th to May the 12th 2008 (we won't be there either during this period). My husband and I will travel to the states in August. That's why we're looking for a flat in New York late August (probably between the 20th and the 30th of August).
