Description

Spacious townhouse 300 metres from Paris available for August 2008 in exchange for Ontario cottage on a lake. Located at Mairie des Lilas metro, 20 minutes from Chatelet and the centre of Paris. Three-bedroom home with outdoor terrace, vertical garden and front balcony. Sleeps eight adults and one baby. Three people in our exchange party.

Large kitchen with five gas burners, a terra cotta floor, oak cabinets and a flamed granite counter top. The living room, dinning room and music room have oak flooring and ample natural light. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and an office. Apart from the bedrooms, there are two other fold out couches elsewhere in the house. There are two bathrooms, wifi, a washing machine and a dishwasher.

Neighborhood


Les Lilas is walking distance from Paris city limits, but has its own city life with a market twice a week, an organic market Friday afternoons, local shops, post office, tennis courts, jazz club as well as a local art house cinema and theatre. Our townhouse is five minutes (walking) away from line 11 of the Paris metro.

About Us

Three people in our exchange party, a couple and a baby. Non-smoking. I am French Canadian and my husband is from the Alps.

Destination

The dates can be a little flexible. The first two weeks in August can't be changed, but we can be flexible by starting the exchange in late July or early August.
