Description

A spacious 4 bedroom home in the suburbs of Liverpool, very near to lots of restaurants and bars. The well equipped dining kitchen looks out over a sunny south facing garden full of flowers, herbs and vegetables in the summer. You can sit outside on the patio and have a barbeque. We also have a study, lounge and 4 bedrooms with a family bathroom and downstairs wc. There is a piano also if anyone wants to play.

We have all modern conveniences, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, modern kitchen, pc with internet. My son also is a keen gamer and has a Wii and Xbox with loads of games etc. We have two very friendly cats who need looking after also.

The front of the house overlooks a green where it is safe for children to play, a very friendly neighbourhood. Our home is a few minutes walk away from the Beatles Penny Lane , and also near Strawberry Fields and John Lennons house.

Neighborhood

Liverpool has the Capital of Culture (Europe) award for 2008, and there is lots going on in the vibrant city, especially in terms of performance art and music, or take the ferry across the Mersey. The city centre is about 5 miles away with an excellent bus and train route direct into the city.

The city has many lovely historic buildings if you like architecture, and not very far away there are beautiful beaches and countryside.

About Us

We are both in our early 40's and have three boys, but the eldest has his own flat now, and the two younger boys are aged 16 and 11.

I am a local government officer and my husband is a sales manager for an arts company. I enjoy gardening, playing the piano and reading. My husband enjoys photography and has a large music collection.

Destination

We were hoping for an exhange somewhere near the Limousin region of central France, as we are keen to explore this region. I speak only a little French and my husband speaks none at the moment, but our plan is to move to France when we retire permanently.
