Description

Its a large flat in ground floor of a beautiful, detached Victorian villa. It has its own parking, and private garden. It has three bedrooms, two doubles and one single. Modern, well equipped kitchen for someone who loves to cook, with all the expected facilities (washing machine, fridge freezer, dishwasher and appliances). Large lounge / dining room with plasma TV, DVD, Stereo, wireless broadband internet).

Its a wonderful flat to relax in after a hard day sightseeing in London.

Its ideal for couples or small families. It could comfortably sleep 5, as there are 3 bedrooms, and large lounge.

Being on the ground floor makes affords easy access to house and shared gardens. There is also a nice private patio with garden furniture and BBQ.

I haven't got any photos of the house yet - but will put them up as soon as I can.

Neighborhood

Wimbledon is a wonderful base to see London, and Wimbledon village is probably the best spot of all. If you like tennis, its 15 minute walk to the famous All-England Club. If you like local pubs and restaurants, there is fine cuisine in the village only 5 minutes away, along with shops to meet all your needs. Its in a lovely green corner of London, with quiet roads and off-street parking for the car. Its only a short walk to the tube or mainline train station, and 20 minutes from their to central London. There is a night bus from Trafalgar Square that runs 24 hours a day.

Wimbledon is a very green area. The flat is 5 minutes from Wimbledon Common, which connects to Putney Heath, and Richmond Park (King Henry VII hunting ground) providing the largest continuous park in London. On the common are two golf courses, tennis courts, bike trails, pony tracks and plenty of walking options; rare for somewhere so close to central London.

If you have a car it is outside of the congestion charge zone, has ample parking, and is 40 minutes from Heathrow, 50 from Gatwick. Being on the outskirts of London means you will find it easier to get outside and see the countryside. Oxford, Cambridge, Bath, Brighton, Cotswolds, Stratford and many more are less than two hours away.

If it is London you want to see you are 10 minutes walk from Wimbledon or Raynes Park stations, with a twenty minute journey to central London leaving every 3-5 minutes.

Quiet streets, ground floor location make it perfect for younger children. Adults will appreciate the quality bars, restaurants and nightclubs in Wimbledon itself, the village or London Central.

My name is Will, I am a young professional. I love all sports especially tennis, skiing, golf and surfing. I have travelled extensively all over the world and want to continue to do so. I will probably bring my girlfriend who also loves traveling!

Its in a beautiful part of Andalucia in southern Spain, and who knows - there may be a double swap opportunity!
