Description

I will add some photos soon. But to give you an idea we have a Red brick Edwardian semi-detached home in beautiful Dorset County England. We have three bedrooms (master bedroom with ensuite bathroom). Downstairs we have a kitchen/dining room, family/TV room and a lovely sitting room. The house was built in 1904 - and still has many original features - including fireplaces. We have lived here since 2003 - and have revamped but kept the character. Our home is cosy and very child friendly. Old fashioned English garden - with lots of sun and shade for lazy afternoon tea.

Neighborhood

Shaftesbury is a small, quaint and sleepy market town. We are 45 minutes from the 'Jurassic' coastline and lovely sandy beaches of Dorset and Devon. Stonehenge, Poole, Bournemouth, Georgian city of Bath and Salisbury, with its famous cathedral - all within one hour drive and esay to cover in a day's outing. Our house is on the edge of town - lovely walks just outside the door.

About Us

We are a family of 4. Razzaque is a company director, Helen works in international development. We have lived in Asia for many years - and have travelled extensively all over the world. Our son Rian, is 14 (and very keen on rugby and surfing) and our daughter Savanna is 8. Shadow is our cat - great if you like to feed him - if not he will stay with friends.

Destination

We'd like to spend 2-3 weeks in Southern California near a good surfing beach.
