Modern contemporary eat-in kitchen with further dining table, conservatory with mini-office space (pc), range cooker, microwave, american type fridge/freezer, utility room with maytag washer and dryer, leading out on to private garden with garden furniture, barbeque for alfresco dining. Also Power Plate exercise machine for those of you who feel inclined! Neighborhood

Our neighbourhood provides excellent access to London's West End, the Kings Road, Chelsea, Wimbledon village and the South coast of England. Public transport can be found a short walk away at Balham with both underground and mainline station to London Victoria, Clapham Junction and London Gatwick.

The open spaces of leafy Wandsworth Common is just minutes away, where you will find shops, bars, restaurants on Bellevue Road, along with the Michelin Star restaurant "Chez Bruce". Other local shopping can be found at Balham High Street including Marks and Spencer Food hall, Waitrose, Sainsburys, Starbucks & Pizza Express.

Wimbledon Village is 10 mins away by car, where you will find the famous Wimbledon Lawn & Tennis, Wimbledon Common and village, Cannizaro House and gardens.

Also we are within easy access to the home counties of Berkshire and Surrey (40 mins) where you will find Windsor Castle, Ascot Race Course and Hampton Court Palace and many more!

For those of you more interested in the sites of London, we are 20 mins by tube from London's West End, with Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, Oxford Street & Picadilly Circus and all London has to offer. By bus we are about 20 mins from the Kings Road just across the river with all its boutiques, bars and restaurants.

About Us

We are both working professionals, I was a BA stewardess for some time and have fortunately travelled to many wonderful places. Having left to have our son who is now 4 and just started school. I now work as an Event Manager in Central London and have done so for the last 3 years, so I have a good knowledge of where to go, what to see, where to be seen and can hopefully provide you with a good overall guide of London entertainment including hotels, bars and restaurants, places of interest. My partner is self employed in the music industry and also property. We have both lived in South West London for some considerable time and are huge fans of this area, although not from here initially. Balham is a great place for families or couples who want to enjoy the beauty of Wandsworth Common, Battersea Park and the River Thames.

Destination

Hi We are looking for a vacation home in July when our boys have broken up from school, Grandma is making this trip with us too, so we are in fact a party of 5 for this year's summer vacation. We have booked our flights to LAX from July 12th to 1st August. Even if the dates that you are looking to swap for, don't quite fit in, please let me know as our home will be free from Saturday 12th July until Saturday 2nd August. Also we are planning to have a drive around California/Nevada during our stay so if your home is free for part of our vacation, we'd love to hear from you just in case it could work out.

We are also open to suggestions for a trip to the Gulf Coast of Florida over the Christmas Holidays.
