Description

Large semi-detatched house with beautiful views to the north-western lakeland hills. The house is standard 1980's construction, (not lovely-we're here for the view!), but recent extensions have created a more interesting interior. Two reception rooms (both with views), the usual mod cons, new central heating system. Cosy beds, tv's, broadband, laundry room, dishwasher, 2 adult mountain bikes, etc.

Neighborhood

The house has a central location in a small quiet village on the edge of the Lake District National Park. An excellent base to explore the more remote and less busy fells. It's a short drive to the traditional town of Keswick or to the port of Whitehaven on the coast. Cycle from the door or a short drive to access some great walking trails. There is no public transport through the village.

About Us

We are a professional couple in our fifties starting a life in semi-retirement. Our interests are in the great outdoors and wildlife. We have travelled a lot and seek to find like minded people, at home and abroad, to exchange with. Chris has worked in the media and Hilary, formerly a nurse, now enjoys the chance to photograph wildlife.

Destination

We are open to any exchange opportunities that would take us to beautiful areas of the UK or the world. We have flexibility and exchanges need not be simultaneous.
