Description

our home is a timber queenslander surrounded by tropical gardens with fruit trees, exotic tropical plants and a large vegetable patch, it is very eco friendly. we live five minutes from the beautiful coral sea, and minutes from the iconic noosa national park. beautiful noosa river is nearby for swimming, barbequeing, boating and relaxing. we have 3 bicycles, a volvo and a canoe. there are many fantastic restaurants in the area and noosa heads is the premier destination for folks from sydney and melbourne. the living area flows from the front deck through kitchen, dining, living and out to the back deck making it ideal for social gatherings. truly a top destination in australia.

Neighborhood

sunrise beach is a beautiful neighbourhood a few minutes south of the iconic noosa. it is full of families raising their children here and enjoying the natural environment. it is a few minutes walk to "the shops" for all your daily needs. fantastic produce, seafood and meats are available ultra fresh daily. there is a fantastic aquatic center minutes away on foot with three swimming pools and cafe. it is a lowkey kicked back neighbourhood with the famous hastings street and noosa national park just minutes away.

About Us

i am an aussie who lived in santa cruz for 17 glorious years but relcoted to noosa heads to raise our daughter natasha. as much as we love it here we miss santa cruz and thought a house swap would be an ideal way to return and spend some time there whilst having a family from santa cruz enjoy the tropical environmet here. its a little further west than hawaii but has the australian vibe, i think you all would love it.
