Small apartment with a divided sleeping area (with queen-sized bed) and open floor plan. Full kitchen and bath. Polished concrete floors with radiant heat keep it warm and cozy in the winter. Laundry, grocery, post office, banks, restaurants and public transit within walking distance.

Our cozy apartment has TV with basic cable, a computer with high-speed internet access, a small library, and other modern amenities. Nice neighbors and quiet neighborhood is minutes from downtown by car and only about 30 min. by light rail. Minutes from hot and up-and-coming neighborhoods like Mississippi, Alberta, and the N Williams strip.

Neighborhood

Our apartment is located in the up-and-coming Kenton neighborhood, but is primarily working class. We are within five blocks from a few cafes, restaurants and pubs, a nice park, bike trails, and basic necessities like a grocery, laundromat, bank, post office, etc.

Our neighborhood is friendly and quiet, mostly older homes and few young families. Two blocks from the yellow MAX (light rail) line to city center (yellow line connects to the airport light rail). Our neighborhood is in North Portland, within city limits and near the Oregon-Washington border. We are also near other hot neighborhoods like N Williams, Alberta Arts District, and the N Mississippi Neighborhood.

About Us

We are a young married couple. We are both artist/designers, so our environment is surrounded by art and pottery. We have two cats and a dog (our pets are boarded when we are away). We spend time working at home together, reading and traveling, snowboarding, biking and cooking.

We are nice, warm people who live a simple environmentally-friendly lifestyle.
