Description


The house is very light and airy with a contemporary designer meets bohemian chic feel. The 1200 sq feet/110 sq meters are on three levels with a 430 sq feet/40 sq meter garden in the front.

Ground Floor : spacious open dining, living, and kitchen area, hardwoods, (French doors) double glass doors which open out to the garden patio. The garden patio consists of a grill, table and chairs, trees, and play area. There is a basement with washing machine, wine celler, bike storage, etc.

First Level : 2 high ceiling vaulted bedrooms (1 children's bedroom with 2 small beds / 1 master bedroom with double bed)
Full Italian-tiled bath with bathtub and separate shower. The toilette is also in a seperate space.

Second Level : Small cosy guest bedroom with double bed and separate office area. Both have sky light windows.

Our housecleaning style is "company is coming, better clean the house !"

Neighborhood

The neighborhood is called the "Mouzaia" or "Quartier d'Amerique" located in the 19th district near the 19th-century romantic Buttes-Chaumont park. The dwellings are ivy-covered cottage size houses whose gardens open onto cobblestoned alleyways - the charm of the country in an urban venue. The neighborhood is mixed and trendy with lots of young families and is located not far from La Villette and the Chinese and artistic quarters of Belleville and Canal St Martin. It is also only a 15 minute direct subway ride to the historical center of Paris (Notre Dame).

About Us

We are a Franco-American couple, Clement is a designer and Colleen is an artist. We have a 3 year old daughter and 7 year old son. Our hobbies are travelling, arts, cooking..

We are looking for exchanges during Spring school holiday breaks :

We prefer NYC or Italy for Spring but are open
