Description

We have a 3 story home, with parking, directly across the street from the Palace of Fine Arts. The view is wonderful, and the home is walking distance to great restaurants and popular tourist sites, including the Palace of Fine Arts, Fisherman's Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge. We have three bedrooms and four full baths. The master bedroom has an attached bath and great view of the Palace of Fine ARts. The rooms are all nicely decorated, and the kitchen was remodeled in 2005, so is modern and attractive. We have a small yard in the back, and a park across the street. A spacious deck off the kitchen has a grill and table for meals.

Neighborhood

Our home is walking distance to great restaurants and popular tourist sites, including the Palace of Fine Arts, Fisherman's Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge. The shopping district of the Marina is just blocks away. The beach is also very close by. Parking is easy, since there is a park across the street. There are playgrounds and the Exploratorium close by, making it a good location with small kids. The Palace of Fine Arts is currently being rennovated. The rennovation of the grounds is complete and very nice. There is scaffolding surrounding the Palace itself, which can be seen in one of the photos. There is no noise or dust from the work. It just makes the view slightly less attractive.

About Us

We are a family of four, with two adults and 2 children, a three year old daughter and a five year old son. We don't have any pets. Both adults are professionals - Mike is a banker and Jenny is an Internet Marketing Professional.

Destination

We prefer Paris, but will consider anything that works within our time frame. It can be non-simultaneous.
