Description

Our home is open, spacious & airy...it has 4 bedrooms & three bathrooms & backs onto a park which takes you via picturesque boardwalks to an endless unpolluted surfing beach. it is comfortable & low maintenance with a swimming pool & outdoor entertaining (or just relaxing) area.

Neighborhood

The house is situated in a small residential, beachside enclave. Local town of Coolum is just 5 mins drive away, all the essentials, supermarket, restaurants, cafes, shops are there. 20 mins drive takes you to Maroochydore/Mooloolaba to the South & Noosa to the North. Brisbane, a large city is 130 kms easy drive & the Gold Coast (Surfers Paradise) home of the theme parks...only 2 hours drive. Lots of things to do...visit Australia Zoo (made famous by Steve Irwin), go whale watching, wineries, hiking, galleries, markets, fishing, swimming, golfing, diving, (dive the HMS Brisbane) surfing....a modern seaside area where you can relax & do nothing or visit somewhere new everyday. Lots of walking & biking tracks & the domestic airport just 5 mins drive.

About Us

We are Glenys & Bruce...sort of semi- retired, 60 & 62, with a grown (& left home)family. We enjoy the beach, walking, dining & wining, travel, meeting people of all cultures & socialising with friends. bruce is very keen on sport...especially cricket & rugby union whilst I am more likely to curl up with a good book! We are experienced home exchangers & love the whole concept. we also have small fluffy dog who is happy to stay in residence if our exchanger is a doggy person, otherwise, he can also go on holiday. We often travel with another couple, similar age to us & can vouch for the fact that they are house trained!!!

Destination

We are flexible & open to all possibilities, except...prefer your summer or spring.

Also looking for Melbourne or environs Christmas 2008 for about 3 weeks & Melbourne city for a week, sometime between April & June.
