Description

Our house is a modern detached 3 bedroomed house very light with a big quiet garden at the back and a footpath leaving from our house.

On the ground floor is a large sitting room and dining room with a wood burning fire,a tv (UK satellite system and French terrestrial), DVD.
There is also a fully equipped kitchen.
Also on the ground floor you can use the office where 2 PC are connected to broadband internet.

The garage houses two adult bikes and various children toys such as bike and carriers,a washer and a dryer.

The bedrooms are all upstairs but there is a sofa with good bedding available in the sitting-room for two extra persons.

Upstairs are two children bedrooms (2 single beds, a baby bed) and the master bedroom with a double bed.

There is a lovely, quiet back garden with a footpath passing behind it.

There are gates so children can play safely and the house is situated in a very quiet area with very few cars passing by. At the back of the house is a field where some donkeys are grazing.There are also toys in the garden (slide, swings)

Neighborhood

Our house is in Chemazé, Mayenne in a very quiet housing estate.

Chemazé is a small village of modern homes located about 5 kilometres from Château-Gontier.

In Chemazé, you can find all the basic shopping facilities like a bakery, a pharmacy and a little supermarket while in Château-Gontier you can have access to large supermarkets, a cinema, an indoor pool with a sauna, many outdoor and indoor tennis courts, a cinema and a theatre.

About Us

We are a François and Zélia, a married couple with one son, Aurèle and a baby girl due for March 2008 . We are both teachers so we are quite flexible with the dates but would like to travel in July or August this year.
I teach maths while my wife teaches English so we are particularly interested with English-speaking countries but would also be interested in short week-end breaks or holidays in France.
We enjoy travelling and meeting different kinds of people. We haven't done a home exchange so far but we love the idea of offering our house and would be very respectful of yours
