Description

Our home is a large detached Victorian house with lovely sea views in a small peaceful town about 30 minutes' drive from Belfast. The house was built in 1887 and retains many of its original features. There are gardens at the front and back of the property. Internet access, sky tv and telephone available.It is a short walk away from shops and the railway station, from where one can travel to many destinations in Ireland, including Dublin. It is 15 minutes' drive from Carrickfergus, where there is a 12th century castle, and 75 minutes' drive from the famous world heritage site of the Giants Causeway and the beautiful North Coast of Northern Ireland.

Neighborhood

This quiet seaside town has the usual facilities of playparks, tennis courts and golf course. Our house is a short walk from the shops and the Victorian promenade, from where one can enjoy a lovely walk by the sea to the lighthouse. People here are very friendly and helpful to visitors.

About Us

We are a retired couple, who have a son, daughter in law and grandson in Vancouver. We would like to visit them with our daughter and her partner and baby in the summer of 2008 and/or the winter of 2008/9. They are also willing to offer their 2 bedroom apartment in Glasgow, to anyone who might wish to split their holiday between N. Ireland and Scotland. We would all be happy to consider non simultaneous exchanges.

Destination

Willing to consider any exchange in Vancouver for any length of time. Dates are fairly flexible. Happy to arrange a non simultaneous exchange.
