3 bedroom waterfront home - 2 bedrooms with ensuites (1 upstairs,1 downstairs).
Extensive decking outside main living areas and separate gazebo with outdoor furniture. The property runs to the waters edge of a beautiful tidal bay in the Tauranga Harbour. At high tide you can enjoy swimming and kayaking from the lawn (2 kayaks and dinghy available).

Wireless internet access.

This house is a 2nd home so a non-simultaneous exchange can be easily arranged.

Quartier

Tauranga is a coastal city with a population of 110,000 located 2.5 hours south of Auckland and 1 hour from Rotorua (geothermal tourist area).
Tauranga has an extensive harbour and beautiful surf beaches at Mt Maunganui. There are numerous golf courses.
We are situated in a quiet street. Bus services are available and a small community shopping centre is within a few minutes walk. 15 mins drive to Tauranga City or Mount Maunganui. There are numerous bush walks and tramps close by, and Tauranga is situated close to many major tourist attractions (within 2 hours to Rotorua, Taupo, Waitomo Caves).

We are a semi-retired couple whose children have left home. We enjoy the outdoors, camping, tramping, boating and fishing in the summer and skiing in the winter.

Lois works part time as an office executive and Gary is a supervisor at the local port.

Destination

Your visit to New Zealand could be at any time as we have a 2nd house available.

In Jan/Feb 2013 we would like to ski in Canada, and would like to exchange a house/apartment/condo at one of the Canadian ski resorts.

In mid 2013 we are seeking home exchange(s) in Thailand for anything from 5-15 days.

We are open to any exchanges in central Melbourne for 7-10 days (to visit family). Open to any dates for this exchange.

We are also open to any exchanges within New Zealand.
