Description

The apartment is a large studio apartment uniquely decorated and comfortable. There is a double bed to sleep two people, though the sofa is a wide and comfortable sofa-bed and could sleep one more person if you like. The apartment has many windows and is bright and cheery. There is a nice fireplace, a bathroom with a jacuzzi jet bathtub and a private Finnish style sauna in the apartment. The kitchen is small but has everything you need to cook for two to three people. There are also two computer desk work stations with comfortable work chairs. Our apartment has reliable high speed internet access- VERY high speed- we are computer nerds and we both work from home so it will be easy for you to work from here if you need to. The apartment is a fun place to stay, very atmospheric.

Note: We do not have a TV set.

Neighborhood

The neighborhood is reasonably quiet and safe. It is far enough out of the tourist zone that it stays pretty quiet, yet close enough that you can walk or take a tram/metro to the major tourist sights in a matter of minutes. Taking the tram, metro and bus is very easy here. You do not need a car to get anywhere in the city.

Amenities in Walking Distance-
Grocery markets, metro to downtown Pest, cafes and tea houses, shopping malls with department stores, electronic stores and other large stores.

Tourist Attractions In Walking Distance (under 30 minute walk)
Heroes Square, Szechenyi Bath House, Museum of Fine Arts, Museum Of Cultural History, Vesigolat Castle, Ice Skating Rink, City Park

Other tourist attractions are easily reached by tram or metro.

About Us

Alec is a 40 yr old computer programmer and innovative energy engineer. He is currently working on saving the world but only wears his cape on weekends.

Lily is a 30 year old writer and singer. She has worked as a back up singer for two legendary rock stars but you'll have to guess who they are.

We do not smoke, no children and no pets. We are very respectful to the property of other people.


What we are looking for:
We need your home to have high speed internet.

Destination

We are two people who both work from home and require having high speed internet connection to remain employed when we travel. It is possible for us to have a non-simultaneous exchange, depending on the time of year. We are very serious about the exchange and open to strange locations, so please contact us with any location you have! We have not done a house exchange yet but we are very experienced travelers and look forward to the experience.
