Description

We live in a large, airy Victorian terrace, with lots of original features. Logburner, feature fireplaces, cellar with washing machine, bathroom with whirlpool bath and separate shower. 2 large double bedrooms and a single on the first floor, plus very large attic room, with separate office area and 2 computers. Small garden,not overlooked. We live 1 minute from the small town centre, 2 minutes from large supermarket and 3 minutes from fabulous park opening onto hills.

Neighborhood

Brighouse is very close to the M62 motorway, and getting anywhere is so easy. It is an interesting, small market town, set in the Pennine Hills, close to Halifax and Huddersfied. Leeds, Manchester, York, Yorkshire Dales and Pennines all within 40 minutes. We can walk into the country from our doorstep, it is very hilly here. You can drive out to Bronte country, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park or onto the moors. Very close by is Eureka! an amazing museum for chidren, plus the National Media Museum and the National Coal Mining Museum, not to mention the attractions of the larger cities. Friendly people, safe area, great walks, great town.

About Us

We both work in primary schools, Neil in ICT and I am a Primary teacher in Bradford. Our 2 children are 5 and 2, so we have plenty of toys! We like to walk, go for days out, read and eat out. We have lived here just over a year, we moved up from London - what a good idea!
We have a car which could be part of the exchange.
