Description

Our home is a small 3/2 home 1383sq. ft. located in a rural community 2 hours north of San Francisco, 2 hours northwest of Sacramento and 2hours south of the great redwoods. Our home is a new home built last year. Lake County is the new wine country of California set around the largest inland lake and in California and one of the oldest lakes in the country. Clearlake is home to many bass fishing tournaments, many recreational boasters and a very laid back atmosphere. We are located a few minutes from Konocti Harbor Resort which is an older resort with top name summerc concert entertainment.

Neighborhood

We love Lake County for it's ruralness, but also the cleanest air in the state, the ability to hike, fish and get back to nature, but also the ability to visit the city with a short 2 hour drive. The small town atmosphere is wonderful and there is always something to do, farmer's markets, wine tasting, festivals almost every weekend. You won't find a lot of chain stores, just mom and pops.

About Us

We are a family of four, my husband is a builder and I am in real estate. Our kids are 3 and 5 1/2. They are very well mannered and well traveled. We have relatives in Norway, so we have traveled to Europe quite often. No pets and no smoking, but we love a good glass of wine every so often. We love the outdoors, and SCUBA diving.

Destination

We prefer to exchange during the kids US school holiday. We are looking at Southern CA at this time because we are making it a working vacation.
