90 sq meters, located on the 3rd floor of building, open plan living room with full Bosphorus view, 2 balconies; in rear and front of apartment, modernly decorated / fully renovated in 2007 August, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and toilet. Two bedrooms in the apartment (one double room and one single room [ single room is decorated as child room ]). Stereo, 2 satellite receivers and LCD television, DVD-player, desktop computer with full access Wi-Fi high speed internet connection, remote control / electrical window shutters, wireless burglar alarm, air purifier, smoke and gas detectors, loads of child toys :)
Located 2 minutes walk to the quaint town of Cengelkoy, which has full transport services to major tourist attractions, includes sea bus, normal bus and taxi services. 5 minutes drive to 1st Bosphorus Bridge and 15 minutes drive to the 2nd Bosphorus Bridge.

Neighborhood

Cengelkoy is a beautiful district in Istanbul with a feel of a small town but with easy access to the hustle and bustle of the big city.The picturesque main street is located on the Bosphurus sea front with traditional green grocers ,flower shops ,patisseries and local restaurants. The locals are all very helpful and friendly. You are located only 2mins walk from the sea bus jetty which is built in the old traditional wooden style structure and has sea buses running frequently to and from all the major areas in Istanbul. Alternatively you may use the very frequent bus service which is also located on the main street ,servicing all areas including the scenic sea route along the Bosphurus, which stops at beautiful towns such as Anadolu Hisar and Kanlica,which should not be missed. Beylerbeyi Palace is only a 15 minute walk from our apartment.

About Us

I am Irish and have been living in turkey since 1994. I am teacher. My husband is from Istanbul and is a professional in tourism and also an IT consultant and we have a three year old son.
I speak English and Turkish and my husband speaks Turkish, French and English.
