Small fully appointed cottage with full kitchen, dining area/living room with stone fireplace,
1 bedroom with double bed, 2 small bunk rooms (best for children or smaller adults), bathroom includes slated shower, no tub. Futon in living room. Deck accessed from dining/living room overlooking small field and distant hills. Pond available for swimming.

Neighborhood

Cottage is located off quiet dirt road in rural neighborhood, surrounded by farm fields and woodlands. 5 miles to Silver Lake and Barnard General Store, 7 miles to Woodstock, 25 miles to small airport in Lebanon NH, 2-1/2 hour drive to Boston. Area includes great restaurants within a 10 minute drive, hiking out the front door (3/4 mile to Appallacian trail access), and plenty of road and mountain biking opportunities. Downhill and cross country skiing within 10 minutes, as well as golf.

About Us

This cottage is owned by three brothers and a sister as a base at the family farm (owned by another brother). Although we all use the place from time to time, it is vacant much of the time, and we decided to try this exchange service. Rental is also available.

Destination

As this is not our primary residence, this does not need to be a simultanious exchange. We have a student at St Andrews University and would like to visit this spring.
