This One Bedroom Flat is located on the Ocean Cliffs above the Pacific Coast in a mid-century building located on the gold coast avenue across from the Palisades Park. "Chabby Chic" furnishings and pine floors make this a perfect " all white and antique filled" beach location. A bit of sand on your toes, won't hurt this casual cottage style flat, where you can park your beach cruiser on the porch, and walk around the neighborhood and enjoy the coastal scenery. 22 minutes from Malibu, 25 minutes to Beverly Hills and Hollywood.

Walk to all the sights in downtown Santa Monica. Airport location 22 minutes to LAX. Quiet buidling, w shared patio and pool outside your doorway; additional private patio for your continental breakfast. Queen Suite Bedroom w/Sattelite TV and wireless throughout the apt. Laundry, parking if needed. Full kitchen and bathroom with shower and separate tub. Newly painted and re-furnished; Queen sleeper couch in living room for extra person. Sleeps 2 or 3 comfortably. No Pets, or smokers allowed in lease.

Neighborhood

This is a beach front neighborhood, that is very safe, the building is surrounded by multi-million dollar condos and well-appointed homes. There are 24 hour security vehicles around this neighborhood at most times, as the neighbors are paying for this service in the area. The local city services are not part of the City of LA, thus, they are far superior to the rest of the region. I enjoy the feeling that I can walk around, during the day and early evening, to a main street called 'Montana Avenue' which has been written up in major fashion magazines as a shopping destination for fashion, food, and the overall "California lifestyle" that has made this state so famous.

There are 26 units in this mid-century style building, and it is located across from a park, that has recently been re-furbished, and is populated with dog walkers, joggers, and people taking walks. Many people consider this neighborhood a destination point for their excercise, and other outdoor activities, such as bicycles, beach and running.

The best part of this neighborhood, of course, is the beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean, the clean air, and the moderate weather. Santa Monica can be foggy, as the day closes, so I always carry a sweater or light jacket, or shawl, as the sun goes down on the Pacific Coast.

About Us

I am currently a faculty member of a small private Liberal Arts College, and part of the entertainment business in film and television production industry.

I am single, age 45 and enjoy traveling, and the arts, culture, and foregin languages. I also own a small consulting firm in which I am a creative director, stylist and designer/ illustrator. I have lived in France, Italy, and England. I speak conversational French and some Italian.

Destination

Due to my professional committments, I am available to exchange my apt. for 1-2 weeks at a time, or for a possible 4 week period. I am open to any cities in Italy, France, and the UK. I might also consider Spain, as well, such as Barcelona, or Madrid. I am somewhat flexible as to the dates, though with academic commitments my available months would generally be March-September.
