This nice apartment is on a first floor of a duplex located in the heart of Montreal. It has a private front entry, a modern and comfortable living room equiped with TV, DVD player/Xbox, CD player and radio. A sunny bedroom is separated by the living room by 2 french doors. The kitchen is nice, sunny and practical, there is a dinnng area with a table and 4 chairs as well as a patio door. The kitchen is fully equiped with an electrical stove, a microwave, a refrigerator, a portable washing mashine , and more. The patio door in the kitchen gives you access to a private and intimate yard with a nice flower and herb garden. A barbecue is available. The apartment also has a nice office/library space with a desk, lots of books, radio and chair. If need be, you can install an inflatable matress (available) in the office for extra bed space. There is wireless internet access provided in the apartment. A small but fonctional bathroom completes this beautiful and comfortable apartment.

Ce joli appartement occupe le RDC d'un duplex situé au coeur de Montréal.
L'appartement possède une entrée privée ainsi qu'un salon (salle de séjour) moderne et comfortable équipé d'un téléviseur, d'un lecteur DVD/Xbox, d'un lecteur CD-radio.
La chambre, attenante au salon, est séparée de celui-ci par deux belles portes françaises.
La cuisine est très jolie, ensoleillée et fonctionnelle. On y trouve une table ainsi que 4 chaises. Une grande porte-patio. Vous y trouverez aussi une cuisinière, un micro-ondes, un réfrigérateur, une machine à laver mobile, et beaucoup plus.
De la cuisine, les portes-patio mènent à la cour arrière, gazonnée et clôturée (avec jardin de fleurs et herbes). Un barbecue au gaz est à votre disposition. L'appartement compte aussi un bureau. Il vous est possible d'installer, dans le bureau, un matelas gonflable pour plus d'espace de couchage. Une connection internet sans fil est aussi disponible. Finalement, vous trouverez une coquette salle de bain avec bain/douche

Neighborhood

Just 3 minutes away, by foot, from the Jarry metro station, our apartment is situated in the Villeray district, which is in the center/northern part of Montreal. It is a lively neighborhood where both young professonals and young families live, easily accessible with metro and buses right around the corner. There are plenty of stores and services whitin walking distance (drugstore, grocery store, bakery, video rentals, restaurants and more).
This district is well know for it's calm but lively living and it's proximity with all the main attractions and points of interest of the city.
You will also be closeby (15 minutes) the Famous Jean-Talon Market, the biggest outdoor food market in america, which is open all year round.
Within a 15 minutes walk you will also find the Jarry Park, a big urban park, with installations for sports such as baseball, hockey and others, as well as a nice lake and walking path. The Jarry park host every summer the ''Tennis Roger's cup of Canada''. The mount Royal park, a big mountain covered mostly by forest, is within 15 minutes away by bus. The mount Royal park is right next to Montreal's downtown and as beatifull view-points of the city of Montreal )downtown, Olympic park, St-Lawrence river, and more).

À trois minutes de la station de métro Jarry, notre appartement est situé dans le quartier Villeray, au centre nord de la ville. Ce quartier très vivant, où se cotoient jeunes professionnels et jeunes familles, est très facile d'accès et offre tous les services à proximité (pharmacie, boulangerie, épicerie, vidéoclub, station de métro à moins de 100 mètres). Ce quartier est réputé pour son calme et sa proximité avec les centres d'intérêts de Montréal. De plus, vous trouverez à 15 minutes de marche le fameux marché public Jean-Talon ouvert à l'année, le plus grand marché alimentaire exterieur en Amérique du Nord, ainsi que le parc Jarry, immense parc urbain. De plus, le parc du Mont-Royal ce trouve à seulement 15 minutes d'autobus.

About Us

We are a 28 years old couple impassioned by travels and gastronomy. Her, Chantale, Works in customer service for a winter sports clothing company. Him, Olivier, works in customer service/sales for a coffee torrefaction enterprise.
We enjoy urban life as well as outdoor activities in nature settings. We are somewhat epicurean and enjoy life and the small pleasures it offers.
We fluently speak French and English.

Nous sommes un couple (H-F) de 28 ans passionné par les voyages et la gastronomie. Elle, Chantale, travaille au service à la clientèle d'une entreprise de vêtements de sports d'hiver. Lui, Olivier, travaille au service à la clientèle/ventes pour une entreprise de torréfaction de café.
Nous aimons la vie urbaine ainsi que les activités de plein air dans la nature. Nous sommes assez épicuriens et aimons profiter des plaisirs de la vie.
Nous parlons le français et l'anglais couramment.
